My name is Ashwa Faheem. I am a photographer from the Maldives.

 

For the past two years I have been travelling with people from different corners of the country as a photographer. Because of what I do, I have come to experience and document a country's history unfolding; both in terms of politics and its most pressings social issues.

 

Most of my work is about the people and their stories while living in these tiny islands that make up the Maldives. But I am looking forward to travel all around the world and capture the untold stories through the medium of photography and videography. I hope to bring a positive change to the lives of people through my work.
